Hi. We're the team behind Bridesa, a free site where people from different countries meet and talk.

We started this blog to answer the questions people actually have when they date across borders. How do you flirt when your English and their English aren't quite the same English? What do you do when their mum wants to video-call in week two? Who pays for the flights? And how do you know the person on the other side of the screen is real?

You'll find practical tips here, a few opinions and the occasional checklist. You won't find pickup lines, "secrets", or posts about what women or men from a particular country are "like". People are people.

One thing we'll keep repeating, because it matters more than anything else on this blog: nobody you meet online should ask you for money. Not for a ticket, not for a visa, not for an emergency. If someone does, stop and talk to someone you trust.
